BIG BANG BOOM

We started this year in pretty good shape, the winter was mild except for the last end but we endured Mother Nature’s fury. We had on little (hiccup) in our heating system this year! The west steam boiler started using water and it was determined that the main body was leaking and needs to be replaced, instead of making repairs that might only last a short time we decided to replace the unit and do it correctly.

The bids went out and Johnson’s Plumbing & Heating got the bid for approx. $15,000. The only thing is we as a church are a little shy of the amount needed for this project (like 95% of it). I am sure we do not want to see our breath this winter because this boiler is the one for the heat in the Sanctuary.

I am asking the members of this church to help us out and give to this needed project so we do not have to borrow money or take a loan. My faith is with the membership of this church to help us in this time of need. Please mark your gift “Boiler Fund”. We will save any money beyond our needs for future major building repairs.
